The Juneau Construction Academy offers FREE construction training and job placement assistance to adults 18 and older.

Building Construction I
Construction Planning and Scheduling
Building Codes and Standards
Basic Residential Electrical
Basic Residential Plumbing
Basic Welding

 
The Juneau Academy is one of six academies funded by the legislature to prepare Alaskan workers for opportunities in the construction industry. Local partners include Southeast Alaska Building Industry Association, Alaska Works Partnership, local unions, The Learning Connection, Associated General Contractors, University of Alaska Southeast, Juneau School District, and the Juneau Job Center.
